Who knew? Now we do!
Did you know that cellulite is a skin condition more so than it's a matter of weight? It's true. In order to reduce cellulite you will need to boost collagen and elastin production. One way to do so is by dry brushing or exfoliating the affected area regularly. Another can be by getting regular LED light therapy in the area as it is known to boost collagen.

Can drying problematic or oily skin clear up acne?

No. When skin becomes overly dry, an environment is created in which the skin is signaled that it is too dry and it produces more oil. Use drying products sparingly and look to lightly moisturize oily skin. The goal is to keep skin balanced. ~Taken from Skin Inc mag 5/09

Are blackheads caused by improperly cleansed skin?

Blackheads or comedones are caused by clogged pores, and excessive scrubbing can irritate and further inflame skin. Blackheads often contain dirt, oil, and dry and dead skin cells that need to be removed. Products that help dissolve sebum are the most effective. ~Taken from Skin Inc. mag 5/09 (The reason blackheads are black is because they are oxidized from exposure to the air- good news is no bacteral infection from lack of oxygen).

Are natural and organic products better?

Many natural and organic products are not as they claim. Plus, many times active ingredients have to be synthesized to be bioavailable and efficacious. Synthetic compounds can actually be identical to those found in nature and be more effective. Natural vs. lab-processed should not lead to an up or down decision about whether a product is good or bad.
